100k Stretch Goal Reveal... Not only are we going for gold-foiling on the hardcover spine, we're also gonna emboss the dust jacket!

Two great upgrades for the price of one!! This morning, as we enter the last 72hrs of the campaign, we are announcing our 100k stretch goal at last!
Or rather, goals ;)
If we manage to crack 100k in funding in the next 3 days we are going to both:
- Design the spine of the hardcover case (the hardcover of the actual book that the dust jacket goes over) to be stamped in gold foil!
- Emboss the dust jacket of the hardcover to give it a little texture in your hands!
While these may seem like small touches compared to new art and a map, we can assure you from experience that both these improvements will make a huge positive change in the quality of the books when you receive them, whether you pop down immediately to read, or toss them on your shelf to brighten up the room!
We hope you're excited as we are to try and make these hardcovers even more stunning than we had planned!!

Hey all! So getting right to it:
After reviewing the numbers, we have decided that we are changing the current 75k Stretch Goal from "A custom Mother of Learning bookmark with every book" to the current 100k goal of "Full art end sheets in every hardcover!".
Don't worry, though, you will be getting your bookmarks regardless.
After internal discussion, Bryce has decided he's going to cover the cost of the bookmarks out of his pocket, as a small apology for the Add-On shipping mistake made during setup.
SO, not only are you guaranteed the (unsigned )bookmarks now, but you are also very likely to get the full-art end sheets given we're not too far away! WOOH!
And don't worry, we'll come up with something grand for the 100k Stretch Goal, in case we get there!
PS: just as a reminder, the free bookmarks are NOT signed, so if you want signed bookmarks, you will need to add them in the add-ons section of this Kickstarter or in the Backerkit survey post-campaign!

Hey everyone! We promised you a more detailed update, but sadly after some discussion there isn't much to add at this time.
While we had an artist in mind yesterday, after some internal discussion it was decided that their style may not be the best fit for the project, so we may be shifting direction. We're going to go for a cleaner, serious tone, and are discussing internally what "zoom" of the world to focus on (narrow scope or broad).
We have several options lined up though, and once we make a pick and get a confirmation of involvement from the artists, you will all be the first to be updated!
For the time being, though, onward to the free bookmarks!

We will post a longer update tomorrow about the map details! We're already getting into it, but it's well after the workday here in the US and everyone is finally on their way to a very late dinner! Sorry for the delay. It's been a very, very busy week for the team...
